October Dinner - How to Build Your Own Spinners, Baits, and Jigs

We welcome Mr. Geoff Fleenor to the IKES on Wednesday, October 20th. Mr. Fleenor has logged over 50,000 miles from coast to coast across all of North America including Canada and Mexico catching record size fish using his own lures. Some of his best records include a 59” Sturgeon on a 6 pound test, 46” Atlantic Salmon, 5 pound Brook Trout and 49” Muskie to name just a few. He has caught many saltwater species as well.

Geoff will explain and give live demonstrations of how to build inline spinners, tandem spinners, baits and jigs. He will convince us that the advantage to making your own, is that you can incorporate materials not used in mass production. You can change anything they use into more productive baits. Ask any fly tyer, and they will tell you it’s rewarding to catch fish on your own creations! Along with his demonstrations, Geoff will also give us some very valuable fishing tips.

This will be a great family event so be sure to bring the kids (free hot dogs) and a guest. See you at the IKES!

Dinner starts at 6:30 P.M. Program starts at 7:30 P.M.

Menu: Polish Chicken dinner with the trimmings

Cost: $10 adults free hot dogs for the kids!

Please call in your reservations by Monday, October 18th, at 574-272-3660
